By remembering to remove fleas regularly, you protect your cat against flea invasions.
A flea infestation can be a persistent problem for your cat. This is not only annoying itching and irritation, but also the risk of serious health problems. Sensitivity to flea saliva can cause flea allergy dermatitis in cats. This means that even single bites can cause intense itching and skin lesions. Fleas can also transmit diseases by biting your cat. If a cat accidentally swallows a flea that has tapeworm eggs inside (e.g. while grooming its fur), it may become infected with tapeworm. Because fleas feed on blood, their infestations also lead to anemia. Remember that the fleas you see on your cat are only part of the problem.
 
Adult fleas jumping in your pet's fur make up only about 5% of the total number of fleas in your home. Advantage for cats is a spot-on preparation containing an active substance that works quickly, killing fleas on direct contact.1 Unlike other available products (e.g. tablets), Advantage for cats is an anti-flea spot-on preparation in the form of drops that is dropped onto the pet's skin. The active substance spreads over the entire skin and kills fleas that come into contact with it. This means that a flea does not have to be bitten for the preparation to work.

Advantage contains imidacloprid - an active substance that works quickly and kills fleas through direct contact, so it does not have to be absorbed into the pet's bloodstream. The active ingredient remains in the lipid (sebaceous) coating of your cat's epidermis and fur. The preparation also destroys flea larvae in the house. Along with the naturally exfoliating epidermis and falling hair of the cat, imidacloprid reaches the nooks and crannies of the house and the places where your pet most often stays. The larvae die within 20 minutes of contact with the active substance. In this way, the flea development cycle is interrupted.
 
How to use: 
Application of Advantage for cats is easy and hassle-free.
Step 1: Select an Advantage product appropriate for your cat's weight.
Step 2: Hold the pipette with the cap up, then twist and pull the cap to remove it. Turn the cap over and use it to unlock the contents of the pipette.
Step 3: To apply the spot-on, choose a place high on the cat's neck, at the base of the skull, so that the pet cannot lick the preparation off. Pull the fur back to expose the skin in this area.
Step 4: Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze it firmly several times so that all its contents go directly to the skin. The preparation applied here will automatically spread over the entire skin of the pet, providing it with full protection.
Step 5: Record the date and remember to repeat the treatment after a month.
